Carol is a registered nurse with a master’s degree in advanced clinical Practice. She joined our team in 2022 and has 20yrs experience in secondary care At UHCW working in renal dialysis and acute medicine. Her role enables her to independently assess and treat patients with minor illnesses as well as acute and chronic problems that would otherwise be seen by a GP. These include respiratory, ear, nose and throat, eye, skin and abdominal conditions. She has a special interest in Blood pressure control, Cholesterol management and Diabetes. Carol is able to prescribe medication and issues sick notes.

Melissa Evans
Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Melissa has worked for the NHS for over 25 years in a variety of different settings, including hospital, the community and primary care.
In previous roles, she developed an expertise in treating older patients with frailty, complex long-term conditions, and multiple co- morbidities.
She joined the team in July 2023 and work as an autonomous practitioner and independent prescriber, assessing and treating patients of all ages with minor illness and long term conditions.
Melissa also works at the University of Warwick site delivering healthcare to meet the needs of the student population.

Kirsty completed her nurse training at Coventry University and qualified in 2008. She started off on the dialysis unit at UHCW until July 2016 where she came and joined Broomfield park medical centre as a practice nurse.
Kirsty really enjoys her role as a practice nurse and is dedicated to health promotion and educating patients on how to lead healthier lives. Kirsty has specialist interests in wound care, ear wax removal and the cervical screening programme.
She likes new challenges, learning new skills and broadening her knowledge in all aspects of nursing.

Navdeep is patient focused with a dedicated professional manner, possessing a patient-centered-care approach using caring and practical clinical skills. Prior to being a practice Nurse, Navdeep worked in A&E after qualifying in 2006.
